LIRFC Men's Division I Team
As part of the Northeast Rugby Union, the LIRFC plays teams from all over the tri-state area, and routinely travel along the East Coast to play some of the nations best. In 2007 and 2008, the LIRFC competed in the USA Rugby National Sweet 16′s, and will continue to be a major force on the national level. Members of the LIRFC are consistently selected to National All-Star teams and travel abroad to compete against premier clubs in Europe and South America.
The club is comprised of players from Nassau and Suffolk counties, as well as New York City. Players from all over choose to play for the LIRFC for its high level of play on the field, and strong community off the field. |
